Now with Organic, Sustainable Palm Oil.
Rich, nourishing vegetable oils. Natural herbs, grains and clays. Pure essential oils. Biodegradable. Vegetarian. Long-lasting. Billowy clouds of lather. Step up to the goodness and richness of what hand crafted soap is all about. Your skin will thank you.
No synthetic fragrance. No flashy mineral pigments. No Synthetic Anything.
Alchemy of Sol uses oils of Olive, Sunflower, Coconut, Palm, Castor and Shea Butter. Dry, problem skin will appreciate the relief. Our colors are naturally derived from the goodness of the earth. Herbs, grains and clays. Alchemy of Sol uses organic additives where possible.
Scent is a powerful sense. It has the capacity to trigger memories, evoke moods and facilitate healing. Aromatherapy is the science of essential oils and plant extracts harnessing the powerful chemistry of the brain in order to heal and uplift. Only pure essential oils have the power to do this.
Alchemy of Sol uses a method known as cold-process. This method takes longer to produce a bar of soap, due to curing time, but is far gentler on our quality ingredients. Our soap is poured in 50lb. blocks, taking 1-2 days to set up. Unmolding the block is a thing of beauty. The soap block is cut in to logs and in to bars. The bars are then stacked to cure, resulting in a hard, long-lasting bar of rich, satisfying soap.
Tread lightly. Our soaps are served up naked. Labels are an option. Crystal clear, beautiful, unique and minimal.
Alchemy of Sol believes in supporting our local farmers and producers. We’re reminded of our connection to our community every time we vend at our local farmer’s market. Our Honey Oatmeal Soap is made with local Tennessee honey. Crossing the Rubicon Body Scrub contains organically-grown blue corn meal from our local farmer.
Creating cleansing, purifying soap is our life’s work. We love walking this Path! Magnum Opus. No petroleum detergents. The simplest spiritual act we do every day is immersing ourselves in the consciousness of water. Purifying. Cleansing. Healing. We love making soap! We hope you like it as much as we do.

Farmer’s Markets are a great way to reduce our grocery costs and at the same time improve the quality of our food. While the costs of produce are going up, due to the price of transport, I noticed that the farmer’s market prices are maintaining at current levels.
“Buying Local” doesn’t mean buying from our local supermarket, where produce is often trucked in from across the country, spending hundred’s of dollars on packaging and fuel.
“Buying Local” means reducing our “carbon foot print”, when we support our local farmers, and their families, with our purchase.
When we buy local, we have the opportunity to create relationships with our local farmers about their growing or grazing methods, and learn about the variables and parameters of particular crops and seasons.
Our local Franklin Farmer’s Market is a wonderful mosaic of a full service market. Organic & free range meats, honey, eggs, candles, soap, milk and of course fresh produce, grace the vendor’s booths. Bring the kids! Bring the dogs! Wonderful music. Great community.
