Farmer's Markets
Farmer's Markets are a great way to reduce our grocery costs and at the same time to improve the quality of our food.
"Buying Local" doesn't mean buying from our local supermarket where produce is often trucked in from across the country,
spending hundred's of dollars on packaging and fuel.
"Buying Local" means reducing our "carbon foot print" when we support our local farmers, and their families, with our purchase.
When we buy local we have the opportunity to create relationships with our local farmers about their growing or grazing methods and learn about the variables and parameters of particular crops and seasons.
Our local Franklin Farmer's Market is a wonderful mosaic of a full service market.
Organic & free range meats, honey, eggs, candles, soap, milk and of course fresh produce, grace the vendor's booths.
Bring the kids! Bring the dogs! Usually wonderful music.
Great community.
Behind the The Factory in Franklin. Liberty Pike & Franklin Road. Check our calender for times.
We will be adding more Farmer's Markets as time permits...
Blessings All!
